freeMercator program

Many—including myself—consider Gerardus Mercator the greatest cartographer of all time, and some even consider him the greatest scientist in the history of the Low Countries.

My e-book about Mercator also contains a homemade computer program (coded with/for the freeBasic compiler), this time to mathematically recreate Mercator's famous map projection from 1569, among other things. The program only occupies a "modest" place (as Appendix A).
